What about an AMAZING burger for you to enjoy?
The idea of a Mexican burger is great because it is practical, easy to make and it is delicious to your tongue. This hamburger it is more special and unique if you make your own patties. Making your own patties is healthier, cheaper, and better. Why? You are free to add the ingredients you want. You can be more creative and make your patties with garlic, parsley, basil, leeks, peppers and so on. Besides, are healthier because it does not have preservatives, Tran’s fats, salts and things like those. They taste better since they are much more juicy and tasty.

Smash the avocados with lemon, salt, pepper and if you wish, with parsley. For the Mexican sauce you just need to mix tomatoes, jalapeño, parsley, red onion, salt and pepper.

Makes 4-6 burgers
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp paprika
1-2 tsp salt cracked blackpepper
4-6 slices of cheese
4-6 fresh, hamburger buns
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Heat a large frying pan and add some oil.Fry a small amount of the burger mixture to check the seasoning. Adjust if necessary.Form the mince mixture into burgers and fry for +- 4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. When you’ve flipped the burger the first time, place a slice of cheese on the patty and allow to melt while the patty is cooking.Serve on a fresh bread roll with home-made salsa and guacamole.
For the Guacamole :
2 large, ripe avocados
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt & pepper to taste
Remove the avocado flesh from the skin and mash with the lemon juice, salt & pepper.Set aside until you’re ready to use it.
Tomato & onion salsa:
3 large, ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
1 large red onion, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 red chilli, finely chopped (remove the seeds if you don’t like it hot)
salt & pepper to taste
Combine all the ingredients and mix through.Set aside until you’re ready to use it.
