Stir Fried Sesame Steak

This stir fry will take approximately 30 mins. to cook and will have you want more afterwards. Ingredients

3 teaspoons brown sugar

3 teaspoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch

3 teaspoons sesame oil

4 ounces steak, thinly sliced

1 bunch scallions, sliced

½ cucumber, diced

¼ head cabbage, sliced

½ cup carrots, shredded

1 ½ teaspoon ginger, shaved

1 jalapeno, sliced

 

Directions

 

1. Marinate the steak in a bowl with the brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, 2 tablespoons water and sesame oil.

2. In a large skillet, stir fry your vegetables in oil for about 2 minutes then add ¼ cup water to cook for another 3 minutes to tenderize the vegetables and set aside.

3. Stir fry your ginger and jalapenos in a skillet with sesame oil then add in your steak to cook for 2 minutes. Bring back your cooked vegetables as well as the marinade to cook through then serve over steamed white rice.
